Metropolis United
Logo Design, Jersey Design
I did this project to visualize what a MLS team would look like for the fictional city of Metropolis. This project was done as a way for me to merge my passion for design with my love of comics and media.
Metropolis United is a MLS team based out of Metropolis, Delaware. The teams colors are blue ,white, and gold. The blue represtnts the large bodies of water that suround the city aswell and the white and gold are for the feeling of warmth the eving sun city lights envoke. The teams badge is centred around the historic building for The Daily Planet newspaper company as it an icon of the city and is one of the oldest sky scrapers in Metropolis.
The home shirt has a wave/ ripple patern as a base in a homage to the water that surounds Metropolis.
The away kit is inspired by the skyscapers of Metropolis has a patern of halftone recangles as a base.
The third/ Special kit is designed in a collaboration with LuthorCorp and their discovery of the new element Kryptonite.
